The Residential Leadership Community (RLC) is a themed housing leadership program in which students study and apply leadership concepts while living in a cohort environment.
RLC incorporates the teaching, student life, and community engagement activities that reflect a variety of leadership development approaches grounded in concepts informed by research and practices from multiple academic disciplines including the student affairs arena. The RLC teaches students about comprehensive historical and social leadership theories and guides students to discover and reflect on their own unique individual strengths and leadership style and how they can be applied in a variety of contexts. The RLC promotes leadership as a collaborative process and affords students the opportunity to explore leadership through peer engagement and meaningful connections with faculty as well as campus and community leaders.
